Private clients and trusts:

  • designing and supporting implementation of asset protection structures and succession plans for successful individuals and their families
  • reviewing existing trust structures and assisting with variations, resettlements and winding up of trusts
  • drafting and interpreting trust deeds and associated documents
  • advising trustees on their powers, duties, obligations and providing trustee training
  • advising on trust issues arising in any context (family, commercial, transactional)

Charities, not for profits and Māori entities:

  • helping establish, merge and wind up charities and other not-for-profit entities
  • advising charities and not-for-profit entities on constitutional and operational matters
  • advising a variety of Māori entities
  • providing general charity law advice

Corporate & Commercial:

  • helping with business succession planning
  • advising on corporate structuring, restructuring, acquisitions and divestments, and other shareholder arrangements
  • advising on corporate governance matters
  • assisting with contract negotiation and other commercial law issues
